We are looking for: An engineer with flexibility and adaptability to make quick decisions based on results. An engineer who monitors all phases of the project until its closure. An engineer who can communicate and work with multidisciplinary teams in both English and Spanish. - Job Description - General Responsibilities- Participates in a project, from start to finish, or one phase of a large project, so that it is completed on time and within budget - Assists with the implementation of an established project plan; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; identifies, resolves, or escalates operational problems and minimizes delays - Coordinate the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service - Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase of an engineering project and monitor activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met - Participate in project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team Experience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. - Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands - Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation - Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results - Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity - Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers - Engineering career focused on manufacturing processes (Industrial, electronic, mechanical, etc.). - English B1 - Desirable Experience >1 years: - Manufacturing process (soldering, welder, dispensing, press fit, assembly, etc.). - Problem solving. - Core tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA) - Software: Minitab, Solidworks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP, Outlook, Team, Project). - Manufacturing process documentation. - knowledge: - Electrical functional test and electromechanical components - Pneumatics and electronic. - Six sigma (plus) - Equipment and maintenance experience (plus) SmarterTogether- Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing- Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication- As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work together Click here to view Sensata Recruitment Privacy Statement Click here to view our Sensata Recruitment Privacy Statement for China
