Responsible for mechanical engineering, design and development of air spring modules (ASM) for electronic air suspension systems
**Qualifications**:
- Creation of 2D/3D CATIA models/drawings from existing designs, sketches, & verbal instructions
- Planning and participation on Design Review Based Failure Mode (DRBFM)and DFMEA
- Support the detailing of component and assembly drawings
- Pre-processing and create FEA simulation orders, determine load cases and design goals
- Alignment of the customer requirements with the current Continental specifications
- Creation of internal and customer product specifications
- Verification of customer / supplier requirements
- Perform supplier management (technical contact partner for suppliers)
- Participation on plant launch planni
- Application of GD&T
- Evaluation of engineering change requests
- Support first component assembly trials in production facility
- Interaction with international project team.
