Reporting to the Product Engineering Manager you as a Electrical Engineer will be responsible for key responsibilities that include Support Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales on the maintenance of existing products and the creation of derivative products. Work with cross-functional development teams to maintain business continuity and ensures projects are executed through the Littelfuse New Product & Process Development process. About the job: - Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates options and makes sound design recommendations for product development or enhancement.- Prepares reports and technical specifications.- Assists with project management and scheduling of customer requirements.- Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standard requirements.- Other duties as assigned. About you: - Bachelor or university degree in Engineering. - 3+ years’ experience of electrical circuit design, with preference in automotive product development.- Experience with Altium PCB layout tools, >200A and >48V+ PCB design preferred Experience with embedded systems hardware/firmware, CAN experience a plus.- Experience with power electronics / solid state switching preferred.- Able to handle 2 - 4 concurrent projects.- Interpersonal and presentation skills.- Good communication skills.- High attention to detail.
