**Head of Purchasing Region North America**

**Main Tasks**:

- Build a regional purchasing team and competitive supplier portfolio in the North America region (Greenfield).
- Responsibility for all purchasing transactions with North American suppliers
- Support and implementation of the global strategy per commodity in the region
- Implementation and control of compliance with global purchasing processes and standards regarding EDP systems/tools, master agreements, risk assessment
- Performance monitoring through needs-based management KPIs for regional procurement
- Ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines
- Advancing the digitalization of regional purchasing processes (e.g. EDI processing, Web EDI, B2B platform)
- Establish a Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team for supplier development and quality assurance.

**Profile**:

- Experienced, independent leader with implementation skills.
- Strong communicator and negotiator
- Successfully completed studies in the technical or commercial field
- Several (5-10) years of experience in purchasing in a comparable position in the automotive or automotive supplier industry
- Further cross-functional professional experience in interface functions such as quality, SCM or project management desirable
- IT skills in SAP S/4 HANA and Jaggaer an advantage
- English spoken and written, other languages an advantage
- International experience and intercultural expertise
- Willingness to travel

Salario: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 al mes
