Requisition ID: *****- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDanfoss Refrigeration & A/C Controls (RAC) is looking for an experienced Head of Procurement to lead the Procurement Team in our factory in Monterrey, Mexico and drive the commercial activities in the region.A commercial background from a manufacturing environment and experience with people management is key to succeed in the job.**Responsibilities**:You will be responsible for managing an experienced team of 7 employees.A key task is to ensure continuous development and execution of the regional sourcing strategy and cost down roadmap.Our ambition is to pursue a high degree of sourcing localization and continuously support the business with commercial and technical cost down opportunities.In the job as regional head of procurement, a key requirement is to be a strong Business Partner to the local organization and ensure clear stakeholder management (Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality etc.) in setting the direction of our Business.Through close cross-functional teamwork, our overall target is to always have day-to-day priorities match our customers' expectations.You will be part of a Global Procurement Team with colleagues in China, Denmark, India and Poland.A key element is to ensure strong supplier relationship management of our North American supply base.With that, you are expected to take the lead in developing the suppliers to become competitive partners for our local production in regard to Quality, delivery and cost.**Background & Skills**:To succeed in the job, we expect you to have a relevant academic degree, e.g. within engineering or business, as well as a proven track record leading Project-based Procurement in a manufacturing environment.Previous experience working in a global company is strong advantage.Additionally:- ***** years' experience in a procurement or supply chain function- Commercial background with a solid technical understanding of the manufacturing process across multiple categories (E.g.
