We are hiring
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure master production schedule attainment on time and past due production jobs expedite in shopfloor.
- Ensure production jobs creation and fulfillment on time according to inventory policies.
- Schedules, releases and follow up production jobs in the shop floor to assure completion and closing on time.
- Closing production jobss within 30 days and with allowed manufacturing variance.
- Analyze and determine manufacturing variance root causes and implement definitive corrective actions.
- Proactively communicates scheduling and/or shipping issues to master scheduler, customer service, and Production Manager as needed.
- Maintain finished goods inventory levels according to inventory and safety stock policies through production job attainment.
- Makes sure parts that are being processed in outside vendors are on schedule and communicate any delay to Purchasing, Warehouse clerk and Master Scheduler as needed.
- Works with the quality department to assure reject or quarantined jobs are released on time.
- Manages data integrity through review of order entry, manufacturing methods and inventory transactions.
- Proactively communicates production job creation, modification, deletion or date updates to purchasing and customer service, to help ensure timely material buys and inventory control.
- Maintains open and regular communication with new products engineer to ensure coordinated scheduling of PQ Jobs and Engineering Jobs for new products and revision changes.
- Works productively and efficiently to support LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
- Follow up in shop floor for any critical shipment to customer.
- Provides open production job status trough aging daily report.
- Provides outside vendor delivery rate trough daily report.
- Production job long term shortages report twice a week.
