**Position Summary**:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance activities within an organization. This role manages the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, budget planning, internal controls, and audits. The Controller provides insights to senior management for informed decision-making and ensures adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and oversee the generation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other key financial reports.
- Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Establish, monitor, and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, providing requested documents and explanations as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, as well as adherence to tax and financial reporting regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, manage capital requirements, and optimize working capital.
- Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to international and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support strategic planning, cost management, and decision-making.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, overseeing recruitment, training, and development.
- Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

Experiência y requisitos

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, a master degree in Finance (desired).
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role, with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements in both Mexico and the USA.
- Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
- Proficiency in SAP and financial software.
- Valid visa to travel USA.
