Purpose Statement: Provide health care assistance to Plexus employees.

Key Job Accountabilities:

- Provide basic healthcare services to the Plexus employees, suppliers, visitors and anyone entering the facility. First aids attention to incidents and general illness
- Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential
- Support the implementation and follow up of health and safety programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury.
- Promote good health among employees by assessing them at regular intervals, keeping health records for every employee
- Execute regular audits for the food preparation areas to guarantee the hygiene conditions to prevent food related illness
- Support for medical examinations to new employees and the medical surveillance to the occupationally exposed workers.
- Maintain the documentation in order and support the compliance of regulatory requirements
- Provide an excellent service to all the employees to meet their health requirements
- Meet the requirements for the maintenance of the site certifications (ISO 14001, OEA/ C-T-PAT)

Additional Accountabilities:

- Support the emergency brigade
- Monitor and control de absenteeism related with illness or medical leaves
- Monitor and control of medications
- Monitor and control of emergency equipment.
- Provide training of health related items
- Keep the records of the medical area
- Support the emergency drills.
- Address government authorities and customers audits.
- Execute interviews and participate in the investigations of work related injuries.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in nursing or paramedic is required.
- Two (2) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of equivalent industry experience is preferred.
- Desirable a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Work Environment:

- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
