Product Manager

Requisition ID: 30333- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDanfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC), is looking for a Product Manager to take the product ownership of filter drier portfolio and its further development.
It will be your responsibility to develop, implement and communicate a clear market driven product strategy and to drive the overall performance of the portfolio.
In this role it is a key to success that you take ownership of your work and you are highly motivated by the combination of bringing innovative solutions within this portfolio as well as the commercial development aspect of this job.
The location is Monterrey, Mexico

**Responsibilities**:

- Anticipating as well as understanding customer needs and their long
- term strategies
- Execute product/solution strategies and tactics in accordance with the product lifecycle:

- **‘Grow’**:

- strong focus on customer engagement and business growth
- **‘Defend**’ - pro-active understanding of threats and identification of creative strategies
- **‘Maintain**’ - strong focus on operational excellence and cash generation
- Develop short
- and long-term strategy and product roadmap for the given product portfolio
- Accountable for the financial health of the product portfolio (sales growth and profitability)
- Active player in Front end activities (Pre-NPD, early NPD) - incl. customer involvement, business case content to ensure product strategy alignment
- Responsible for product positioning and value propositions
- Engage with Sales Drivers to align on regional sales initiatives, secure and execute sales pipeline, and support on customer-related topics such as pricing, product feasibility, etc.
- Lead/manage new global product introductions
- Lead/participate in associated cross functional Product Team's ensuring focus and drive on key activities and deliverables in alignment with critical strategic priorities, including Operations, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Sales - with monthly review
- Product Life Cycle (PLC) associated tasks

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor´s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics engineering or another relevant area.
- At least ion and have at least 6-7 years of working experience in similar or adjacent role. It is crucial that you have a solid technical background combined with flair of and experience with business development.
- A result-oriented mindset and a positive, hands-on working approach
- Passionate and outgoing, with an eagerness to share knowledge and contribute to development.
- A clear, motivating, and positive communication style and know how to communicate throughout the organization.
- Thrive in a big global organization, including having many of the main stakeholders in USA, Europe, China and India time zones
- Solid Analytical skills - ability to research and analyze data (customer, competitor, target markets, geographies, etc.) to make the right product decisions with consideration to the overall value proposition, growth expectation and profit levels
- Proficient in English
