What you would do?We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Product Costing Manager to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling and validating standard costs, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with plant operations to develop precise cost estimates. This role involves updating the Bill of Materials (BOM), understanding routing and run times by sub-assembly, and identifying operational inefficiencies.The Product Costing Manager will also develop should-cost estimates for suppliers, considering advantages of scale, vertical integration, efficiency, and SGA&P markups.  To do this they will need to be familiar with engineering drawings, BOMs, and spec sheets to develop cost inputs.  In addition to costing, the role requires creating make-vs-buy business cases to drive informed business decisions. The successful candidate will support procurement, engineering, and other business functions to enhance overall performance.How you will do it?Pull and validate standard costs for manufactured products. Collaborate with plant operations to develop accurate standard cost estimates. Update BOM, understand routing and run times by sub-assembly, and identify operational inefficiencies. Develop should-cost estimates for suppliers, considering advantages of scale, vertical integration, efficiency, and SGA&P markups. Create make-vs-buy business cases at both full cost and variable cost to drive informed business decisions. Support procurement, engineering, and other business functions to improve overall performance.What are we looking for:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain.Minimum of 4 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.At least 2 years of experience in dealing with standard cost or product costing details.Spoken and written English. Able to carry on a conversation without difficulty.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cost estimation tools and software.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations.Familiarity with supplier cost structures and market dynamics.Contrato inicial por tiempo determinado con duración de 2 años
