Electrical Estimator

**About The Role**

The electrical estimator is a critical role at Electrik Pros that operates remotely and works across all markets. Estimators at Electrik Pros are proven leaders who play a critical role in our growth by managing the bidding of timely, accurate and comprehensive electrical estimates for multifamily, commercial, industrial, and federal projects.

**What You'll Do**
- Manage the estimating process from end-to-end, including deadlines and estimating packages
- Read and comprehend all contract documents including specifications, project scopes, drawings and standards to prepare accurate project cost estimates
- Accurately take off material quantities from drawings to develop material and labor pricing
- Assemble scoped RFP’s for vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing. Analyze, compare and select best value vendor and subcontractor proposals for inclusion in cost estimates
- Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives and senior management.
- Attend post-bid review and project kick-off meetings with the owner as needed

**What You'll Need**
- A motivated problem solver with a focus on customer service and 5+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communicator who is comfortable around higher management while being organized, detail-oriented and efficient
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in order to improve their own skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and **Accubid estimating software** experience
