Important manufacturing company starting operations in the city of Tijuana is seeking the following key position.

**Job Title**:Purchasing Manager

**Location**: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all activities related to the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for the production of corrugated cardboard. Its main objective is to ensure the constant and efficient supply of quality materials, at the best possible cost.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain the best conditions for price, quality and delivery times.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of raw materials and supplies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate with the production department to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
- Conduct market analysis and cost studies to identify savings opportunities.
- Manage the ordering process, from request to receipt and storage of materials.
- Ensure compliance with procurement rules and regulations.
- Prepare performance reports and present results to senior management.

Experiência y requisitos

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- Previous experience in purchasing management, preferably in the corrugated industry.
- Knowledge of negotiation techniques and market analysis.
- Leadership skills and ability to make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Mastery of inventory management tools and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
