This position involves heading a team, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies. In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.

**This position reports to**:
Production Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.
- Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation.
- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements.
- Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
- Guiding, motivating, and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential.

**Your background**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related.
- 2 years of experience working on a production line.
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line and 5S methodology. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.)
- Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- English Intermediate level.
