Fixed Asset Analyst

Perform General Ledger functions; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Responsible for approving and following up any fixed asset movement (e-shipper) outside its original location. Including e-shipper training to users in order to minimize errors
- Identify and execute internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures
- Partner with Finance to determine accounting implications of transactions and perform analytical analyses to utilize when making all material business decisions
- Proactive in special projects, accounting/financial data trend analysis for forecast evaluation/impact
- Proper follow-up for scrap & other sales, timely recording and coordination of asset being sold and historical trend analysis for forecast purposes. Close communication with environmental & GBS team
- Local liason with site operating bank to coordinate maintenance, ATM functionability, branch operating services, etc.
