- In this exciting role as a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will have responsibility for leading a large team of Supplier Quality Engineers in the Tijuana & Empalme, Mexico manufacturing sites within the Vascular Therapies & Implants + Drug Chemistry Technologies (VTI+DCT) platform. You will be accountable for changes to existing supplied products and processes, as well as oversight of performance and improvement activities.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:*Manages a large team of Supplier Quality Engineers, Supervisors and/or Managers that are responsible for ensuring delivery of quality parts, materials, and services.*Manage performance, develop talent, engagement and inclusion, communicate business and operational developments, plan, prioritize and/or direct the responsibilities of direct reports.*Accountable for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.*Develop/maintain monitoring systems to track supplier & team performance (training, nonconformances, open actions, supplier changes, supplier quality improvement programs, strategic initiatives, goals, etc.)*Develops new objectives, new operating policies, products, processes and standards in support of the job function strategy.*Leads cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing functions to investigate and resolve supplier-related quality or compliance issues discovered during incoming inspection and/or production.*Lead team in corrective/preventive actions to resolve supplier-related issues

**Experiência y requisitos**
- Bachelors degree required Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experienceExcellent English skills3 years Program Management ExperienceNice to HaveMBA, Masters in Engineering, science or technical fieldASQ CQE, CQA and/or CSQP certificationFirst Time Quality Coach (FTQ) / Six Sigma/ DFSS / Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certifiedStrong communication, organizational and project planning skillsDemonstrated track record of effectively influencing and negotiating with others and leading effective/successful change initiativesStrong knowledge of metrology & measurement techniques; statistical analysis (Cpk, standard deviation, etc) in Minitab, measurement uncertainty, GD&T, Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility
