**DESCRIPTION**

We are actively looking for an **New Product Quality Engineer **who will ensure the correct validation of the functionality of the product design by leading verifications on prototypes, as well as the development of applicable tests during product development and preparing the documentation associated with the quality controls that will be used during regular production.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Industrial Engineer or similar
- Fluent in English
- Advanced Knowleadge in:

- Minitab
- Lean manufacturing
- Core tools
- Value Steam Mapping
- IAFT
- ISO9001
- 8Ds
- PDCA

**ACTIVITIES**
- Test new products, identify problems and propose solutions to reduce costs
- Participate in the definition of the process flow through Value Stream Mapping as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Define the product inspection points during the process according to the flow chart
- Determine the quality inspection processes for the product characteristics, as well as the applicable functional tests and determine the criteria
- Document quality controls according to the guidelines of the document control process and in accordance with the requirements of IATF16949
- Lead the development of the control plan in alignment with the process flow chart, taking the process FMEA as input and ensuring the participation of the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure that the controls documented in the control plan are transferred to the operational work instructions.
- Capture and analyze data to determine the reliability of the process based on the characteristics of the product.
- Determine the critical characteristics to be controlled in the process (process and product characteristics)
- Lead the development of red rabbits for trial and error equipment.
- Determine the measurement equipment to be used in the process for the validation of the process characteristics
- Lead the development of the PPAP and ensure that it contains all the required elements according to the AIAG manual as well as the specific requirements of the client.
- Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving product quality.
- Lead the problem-solving process by detecting causes and ensuring corrective actions by providing feedback to the quality system.
