This role will collaborate across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and other teams both internal and external to Ford Motor Company. Responsibilities include the support of technical and industrialization efforts for multiple suppliers across all of North America with a focus on Internal combustion engines and Thermal systems. The ability to develop, manage and leverage supplier resources for both current and advanced quality projects is critical for the now, near and far development required to be successful in this space.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar Technical field
3+ years experience in Supplier Technical Assistance in a leadership role
5+ years experience with progressive responsibilities in technical, business and leadership roles
Well developed technical acumen in STA, engineering, manufacturing and quality operating systems
Exceptional leadership and communication skills both verbal and written
Experience with presenting complex topics and driving alignment with Senior level management
High degree of initiative, independent work and confidence
Well developed negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other functions and navigate complex decision making in a fast paced environment
Self-driven to research and investigate new concepts & solve new evolving issues
Ability to manage diverse global teams
Bias towards action and pragmatic solutions
Proven record of building a network of strong working relationships

Development of supplier and Site Engineering technical capabilities in the support of delivering both currently quality (PPM, QR, Warranty) as well as future quality (APQP, 17 critical manufacturing processes, Ford strategic initiatives) as well as people leadership (manage org resources, training, development, decision forums, assist with difficult problem resolution and identifying technical resource support
