**The role**:
Undertakes data collection, preprocessing, analysis, and testing. Builds data models to address business problems, test data linkage and assess completeness. Presents information using data visualization techniques and tools to facilitate data understanding and decision-making processes.

**What you will do**:

- Assistance in the identification of valuable data sources and automation of data collection processes.
- Undertake processing of structured and unstructured data.
- Perform data quality analysis tasks such as completeness, profiling, etc.
- Analyze large amount of information to discover trends and patterns.
- Create relational models to assess data linkage, consistency, and linkage.
- Present information using data visualization techniques
- Document data use cases
- Collaborate with data engineering and product teams.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience as data scientist or data analyst
- Experience in data mining
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience writing store procedures (T-SQL), full understanding of joints
- Proficiency in pandas
- Advance knowledge of regular expressions in python and SQL,
- experience creating data pipelines (extractions, transformation, and loading)
- Experienced in the use of Linux OS (Debian, Ubuntu, or Debian/Ubuntu derived distributions) - console commands and configuration
- Strong quantitative background (statistics and algebra)
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Proficiency on English language (written and spoken)
- Engineering, physics, math, computer science degrees or other quantitative degrees.
