As an EHS generalist or specialist position, you will support the business to align with the EHS strategy according to corporate policies and strategies, ensure full compliance with Mexican regulations, corporate policies and strategies on Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene, always oriented to the protection of the physical integrity and health of workers, including associates, contractors, customers, suppliers and community, and facilities, company property and reputation of the company. You will report to the EHS Sr Manager. You will be #LI-Onsite in our site in Hermosillo, Sonora. **Main Responsibilities** - Responsible for lead the implementation of EHS PPG policies. - Lead injury prevention, spill elimination and sustainability in waste elimination, energy conservation and water usage areas. - Manage the implementation of high-risk work permits, pre-task risk analysis and corporate programs - Verify compliance with the annual Ecology, Hygiene and Safety training program for all plant personnel. - Provide direction on incident and injury investigation, incident reporting management and oversight for the facility. **Qualifications** - Requires 5 to 10 years as EHS leader/regional coordinator, preferred chemical setting or Tier 1 orTier 2 plants - Education in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, - Environmental Engineering or related experience. - Advanced English skills. - Availability to travel. 40% - Benefits included will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process, like medical benefits, life insurance and more. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we manage it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
