Lead Test Automation Engineer in Javascript

**Responsibilities**
- Strategically design and drive the development of scalable test automation solutions using JavaScript and Node.js frameworks
- Coordinate manual testing efforts to ensure a comprehensive approach to test coverage and quality standards
- Guide the effective use of test automation tools like Selenium for UI testing and Chai/Mocha for backend/API validation
- Architect, optimize, and maintain automated test suites within JavaScript-based frameworks for robust testing pipelines
- Analyze test results to identify and address system bottlenecks, defects, and performance improvement areas
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with business and product priorities
- Lead and participate in key sprint activities, such as planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release readiness efforts
- Mentor team members in troubleshooting testing challenges and introduce strategies to enhance workflows and coverage

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of professional experience in test automation with JavaScript across enterprise-level systems
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Advanced experience with test automation frameworks, including Selenium, Jest, Mocha, and Chai
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with the ability to architect test-related codebases
- In-depth knowledge of advanced QA principles, test automation frameworks, and full software testing life cycles
- Proven expertise in directing E2E testing strategies, covering complex UI workflows and backend service validation
- Substantial experience collaborating within Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on leading and delivering high-quality outcomes
- Deep understanding of harmonizing manual and automated testing approaches for robust product assurance
- Proven capabilities in debugging, optimizing, and scaling test solutions to meet organizational and project goals
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen focus on detail and quality-first outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher), with experience driving collaborative discussions
