**Position Title**
Associate Technical Consultant

**Location**
Monterrey, Mexico

**Overview**
This is an entry-level Technical Consultant role that will work with BY customers to implement and integrate Blue Yonder solutions with their host systems. The Associate Technical Consultant will spend their time learning about basic technical architecture of BY platform-based solutions and work on installing the software. For integration, the focus will be on common data elements for BY solutions, best practices for loading data using available APIs and MuleSoft based integration workflows for BY solutions implemented in cloud or on prem.

This role will focus on Software installation, batch automation, data mapping, integration development (Source to BY/BY to BY/BY to Downstream Systems) and support testing and cutover activities during the implementation.

A successful Associate Technical Consultant will be a passionate about working with new technologies, demonstrate ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal skills and good communication skills - verbal as well as written.

**Required Skills**:
**Education**:

- Ability to travel extensively (up to 75% travel)
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Supply Chain, Information Systems or equivalent degree.

**Experience**:

- 0-3 year of consulting experience.

**Technical Knowledge**:

- Coursework or related work experience with Relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle), SQL, Understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix Operating Systems, Scripting languages - Python, Shell and Windows
- Any coursework related to ML (Machine Learning) algorithmic engines and concepts is a plus.
- Any course work or internship experience related to Cloud based platforms like Azure or AWS, SaaS solutions would be a plus
- Experience working with any Planning or Execution Systems is a plus.
- Experience working with any of the Integration Tools /iPaaS solutions like - MuleSoft, Informatica, Mulesoft, SAP BODS, Talend etc. is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills and experience.
- Ability to adapt and respond to fast moving & changing project environments

**Responsibilities**:

- With guidance and direction from Architects or senior team members, gather requirements for technical architecture and assist with installation and configuration activities.
- Creates Data mapping templates, Technical specifications for interfaces & scripts that meet Solution requirements and customer.
- With guidance and direction from Architects or senior team members, assist with development of scripts and integrations on BY’s preferred integration platform using BY recommended integration templates and patterns
- Assists with data loading and script testing during all phases of implementation.
- Triage basic technical issues and open cases / follow up on cases with BY Customer Success as required.
- Help Develop and deliver any collateral required for the project and/or technical practice.
- Conduct Knowledge transfer and training for client IT teams.
- Capable of facilitating (design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc.) meetings.
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills to include the ability to mentor, coach and train.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Well organized and ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision after a period of training.
- Flexible and maintains a teamwork attitude.
