TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

**Hard Skills**:

- Experience working to Quality Management Systems (procedures, test methods, inspection procedures, Complaint System entry and navigation, etc.)
- Problem solving tools and techniques
- Use of metrology equipment (i.e. Microscopes, electrical/pressure testing equipment)
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings/schematics - GD&T
- Experience generating and navigating within Quality Complaint Handling software - SAP, TECHS
- Experience evaluating Warranty Claim Investigations with disposition and cost savings
- Experience leading and closing Production or Warranty related claim sorts and/or recalls
- Knowledge in Automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, FTA, GD&T

**What Job Description Includes**
Manage complaint handling process claims - Facilitates the prompt resolution of customer complaints and supplier quality issues
Regional customer point of contact for quality aspects on imported products
Carry out testing and inspection in support of development projects and existing product ranges
Support NPI process and manage PPAP where applicable.

Ensure Quality Standards are maintained within TES QMS.

Minimum BSc in Engineering/Technical education in Mechatronics, Mechanics or Electronics (relevant work and sector experience can compensate for lack of formal education);
SAP / TECHS
Microsoft office package
Knowledge in Automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, FTA, GD&T
Statistics
