**Position Summary**

This position has direct reports and will have to indirectly lead and mentor co-workers and less experienced team members.

Strong creativity and wide knowledge of best practices in the industries is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Create and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions for manufacturing environment
- Identify and specify required equipment and subsystems to improve on new and existing manufacturing process
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance in trouble shooting and maintaining automated processes.
- Create, Control and Modify programs for various control systems (examples include CNC, PLC/HMI, etc.)
- Design, quote, and create equipment/fixtures to aid production processes (structure, process, wiring, sensors)
- Prepares documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures
- Modify current equipment/fixtures to update process requirements
- Assist with Kaizen activities and Engineering projects
- Evaluate part drawings and sketches to understand product design and specification in developing manufacturing equipment
- Provide training for all associates on new equipment operations

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**
- B/S degree in mechatronics or related field
- Fluent English for business conversations
- Proven experience(4+ years) with machining & automation. Specifically with control & Robotics
- Experience with fixture and jugs design
- Experience in designing pokayoke
