**Key performance **areas**

This position is responsible for delivering, coordinating, managing and supporting technical services deployments of Newtrax solutions. The Applications Specialist takes ownership and responsibility for project execution and client success on project tasks throughout the assigned region. This role specializes primarily in the deployment, ongoing services and support of software, system configurations and reports.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform 1st and 2nd -line problem analysis of client system onsite with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Perform software installations, system configurations independent; review installations performed by Level 1 staff.

Provide training to installers and users.

Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.

Administrate and optimize customers’ mobile telemetry data through BI analyst tools, and generate various reports to support and give clients data-driven insight and recommendations.

Assess raw source data, writing equations and events to filter, convert and generate alarm state.

Conduct site audits to review client-specific mining equipment and telecommunications systems, recommend and execute plans to improve system performance.

Validate post-installation data acquisition and configurations.

Assist junior members of the team with routine problem solving.

Relay market intelligence to Newtrax R&D and Product Management teams and maintain an up-to-date understanding of technology development and roadmap.

Follow the Safety First policy and ensure safety training certificates are kept current

Be an ambassador for Newtrax culture by ensuring the workplace maintains a positive, high-performance attitude.
**Your**Profile**:
Undergraduate Degree (electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science)

2 - 5 years of experience on onsite/field services

Experience in mining or similar industry.

**Position **will**be **located** in** Guadalajara, Jalisco.**
