**Who You Are**
You're a user advocate at heart. You have a background in software product design and hands-on experience working with product managers and engineers. You're comfortable owning the full design lifecycle—from discovery to delivery and iteration. You love zooming out to see the whole system, and zooming in to sweat the details.
**What You'll Do Here**:
As a Product Designer on our Agent Experience team, you'll help shape the tools that real estate agents use to grow and manage their business. In this role, you will:
- Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for web and mobile platforms
- Adapt mobile-native patterns for a responsive web without compromising usability
- Translate user needs into task flows and interactions that reduce friction and support business goals
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and data scientists to align on product vision, translate ideas into testable experiments, and ship polished experiences.
- Rapidly explore and validate ideas with interactive prototypes using AI-assisted tools (e.g., generative UI, chat) or lightweight front-end coding (HTML/CSS/JS or tools like Framer)
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform decisions and direction
- Maintain and evolve scalable design patterns that support both experimentation and consistency
- Present your work regularly in design reviews and to stakeholders
- Communicate clearly, manage your time effectively, and deliver on deadlines
- Use AI tools to accelerate or enhance the design process
**Nice to have**:
- Experience creating illustrations or polished graphic assets
This role is ideal for someone who leads with curiosity and initiative — someone who shares ideas, moves fast, and embraces ambiguity.
**You Have**
- 2+ years of experience designing digital products and working closely with engineering, PMs, and other designers
- A knack for reducing complex problems into simple, elegant experiences
- A solid grasp of UX principles and laws, including how they influence layout, interaction, and decision-making
- Familiarity with cognitive load, visual hierarchy, and behavioral psychology in design
- Experience owning work from concept to handoff and iteration
- Experience designing for both business-facing and consumer-facing products
- Ability to explain your design process and decisions clearly to cross-functional teams
- Experience thinking in systems and evolving shared design patterns
- A strong sense of service toward users and teammates, and an ability to balance priorities across the product, the design team, and HomeLight as a whole
