The Operation Manager is responsible for planning, controlling and coordinating the entire range of production activities as well as directing and overseeing the molding, assembly, tooling, molding as well as the related quality control process improvement operations and associated support functions for the company. This position is responsible for all production-related departments within the organization. Main responsibilities - Maintaining safe and efficient day-to-day operations of production and plant operations to meet the shipping schedule - Steer and direct the staff/department review function for PEL Mexico operation. - Collect, analyze, maintain, monitor and report the established measurable data. - Direct and monitor the performance of each department and its department head. - Manage the overall plant, support, administrative and sub-contracted operations. - Assist and direct in maintaining ISO9001 and registration and compliance. - Responsible for the final results of the plant concerning the KPI established by the organization. - A strong presence on the floor and direct participation in daily operational activities. - Make detailed plans to achieve the objectives. - Guarantees a quick response to manufacturing difficulties. - Support staff to eliminate problems with proven problem-solving methodologies. - Oversee the activities of the plant operations and its support personnel. - Provide leadership, manage and monitor performance of department head. - The hiring of key personnel and plant administrative affairs. - Make management decisions relating to established short and long-term goals. - Highly pro-active with the ability to work to deadlines.
