Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a SMT Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, SMT Process Engineer role involves process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Understand the manufacturing SMT & Wave solder processes.
- Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
- Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
- Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced English.
- Strong Knowledge in wave soldering.
- Knowledge in Fixture Designs.
- UPH and takt time calculations.
- NPI Experience.
