**The Job in short**

Be the architect of Backbase growth: identify new markets, develop and grow new partnerships, and drive revenue as our Business Development Manager.

**Meet the job**

Most companies within the Financial Services industry have realized that superior customer experience and user interfaces are a must have in the current market. You will be responsible for challenging these enterprises to think outside of the box to realize the true value that Backbase brings to the table. You will follow up with their interest and convert new opportunities into successful and happy customers.

You will have opportunities to present digital solutions at customer sites in your region. We will help you to grow further into you sales career, where you will be trained and mentored, to become an elite sales professional.

**How about you**
- You are proactive and independent.
- You have some experience from enterprise software sales in your back pocket and are ready to take the next step in your sales career where you will be able to grow into a direct sales role.
- You have some knowledge of banking software solutions and understand the bank's technology ecosystem.
- You have an ability to understand customer business drivers and ability to establish buy-in at all levels.
- You are able to lead intelligent conversations with C-level executives about the challenges they face. It is all about excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.
- You are digitally fluent and understand the impact of digital business solutions.
- It is in your nature to learn more about the market and developments that are happening all around you.
- Calm and easy presenter.
- We don't care about years of experience, we care about what you bring to the table.

**Required Skills**:

- Must have at least 1-2+ years of Software/Technology Sales
- University degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, engineering, communications)
- Experience in the Fintech and/or Banking Industry is a huge plus
