Your responsibilities:
As Cement Sales Specialist, you will be the single point of entry for designated customers, and you will be the representative of FLSmidth. In collaboration with supporting departments, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Spare Parts and Service to our cement customers globally - however, within a given geographical area.
You will be working with internal supporting sales teams and stakeholders, and you will be responsible for securing the given sales budget. You will also be responsible for final stages of customer negotiations to optimize the possibilities of increased sales as well as optimized contribution margins. It is expected that you setup disciplined follow-ups with customers on Teams or phone.
You will be in close contact with internal stakeholders to ensure that the proposal and orders are delivered as agreed with our customers. Sales activities will be conducted from our office, customer visits are rare and only in case it is absolutely needed. You will be a part of a newly formed team of highly motivated sales colleagues that are located globally around the world.
What you bring:
- Commercial knowledge and previous sales experience
- Persuading and influencing skills
- Full professional English and Spanish language skills
- Excellent communication skills - especially using digital solution such as MS Teams
- The ability to understand and convey technical and commercial requests from customers
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Computer literate in MS Office and Customer Relations Management
- Previous technical experience in the Cement Industry or other heavy industries
- Ability to build a strong network internally in FLSmidth and an understanding of the organization to get things done in timely manner
