Responsible for providing financial and cost accounting support to the company’s Mexico-based manufacturing operations. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager of FP&A the individual in this role actively partners with the Mexico manufacturing team to optimize operational spending, enhance decision making and drive performance.
- Collaborates with MX manufacturing and US Finance organizations to achieve functional and overall company objectives.
- Establishes and maintains efficient MX financial and operational processes to build targets, report results, generate forecasts, analyze variances, review agreements, and establish appropriate controls.
- Develops, maintains, and formats information/data needed to analyze past, current, and future financial/operational performance, headcount, and payroll for the management teams.
- Interacts with appropriate external and internal individuals to interpret, prepare, and format communication of financial performance, KPIs, product costs, capital projects, etc., to establish budgets and provide analytical explanations for the results.
- Identifies, recommends and executes in all areas of operational and financial opportunity to enhance decisions within the established reporting cycles.
- Constantly works toward developing an accounting presence/team that is timely, technically competent, respected by their peers, and viewed as trustworthy.

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
- Professional accounting certification required
- 5+ years of corporate finance or accounting experience required
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Possesses a proven track record of success (e.g. history of increasing responsibility and successful outcomes)
- Technically proficient in accounting and financial analysis
- Exposure to both financial planning and/or cost accounting
- Fluent in both English and Spanish - verbal and written required
- Fundamental understanding of ERP systems and their multi-functional interfaces
- Familiarity with relevant tax requirements at the federal and local jurisdictions
