Jr. Accountant

**Position Overview**

We are seeking an Jr. Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for Mexico. This role will focus on transactional accounting (accounts receivable, expense reporting, and reconciliations) while also providing opportunities to assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broad exposure to international accounting and grow into a more senior finance role.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Maintain accounts receivable records, prepare customer statements, and support collections follow-up.
• Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements.
• Record general ledger journal entries in Epicor ERP.

**Month-End Close & Reporting**

• Assist in monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support preparation of internal reports.
• Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits.

**Process & Compliance**

• Ensure transactions are compliant with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures.
• Maintain organized financial records and support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes.

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a must.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles welcome).
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS exposure a plus).
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills; English and Spanish (desired).

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
