A Vendor Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of vendor information within an organization's systems, ensuring data consistency across various business processes. This role involves managing supplier data creations, updates, and deletions, along with ensuring data quality and adherence to established standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Data Management**:
Maintaining and updating vendor master data in ERP systems, including creating new records, updating existing information, and managing vendor blocks, holds, and reactivations.
- ** Data Quality**:
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vendor data, identifying and resolving data quality issues, and conducting root cause analysis.
- ** Process Improvement**:
Participating in continuous improvement projects related to vendor data management processes, and contributing to the development and implementation of new processes.
- ** Data Governance**:
Supporting data governance practices by ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
- ** Collaboration**:
Working with procurement users, process owners, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information.
- ** Reporting and Analysis**:
Providing data and root cause analysis to support continuous process improvement, and generating reports as needed.

- ** Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and conduct root cause analysis.
- ** Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues and other problems.
- ** Technical Skills**: Familiarity with and comfort learning new ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD, JDE, PRMS/AS400), and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- ** Time Management/Self-Motivation**: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized while working remotely.
- ** Adaptability**: Ability to adjust to new situations, technologies, and work processes.
