Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor Security Tools: Assist in monitoring security alerts from systems such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems), firewalls, and cloud security platforms.
- Incident Response Support: Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents, performing initial analysis and reporting findings to senior team members.
- Cloud Security Support: Assist in the management of security controls and configurations within cloud environments (Azure).
- Network Security Assistance: Help maintain and enforce network security controls, including firewall configurations, VPN setups, and intrusion detection systems.
- Security Auditing & Reporting: Help conduct security audits in the AMERICAS Region, document findings, and support compliance efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other security engineers, IT teams, and developers to ensure security best practices are integrated into day-to-day operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in information security, with an emphasis on cloud and network security.
- Basic knowledge of cloud security principles and familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure), especially the Defender and Pureview modules.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Basic understanding of incident response processes and the ability to assist in security investigations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Relevant security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security Certifications, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
