- The Certificates of Origin Specialist plays a key role to secure internal and external customers getting the possibilities to import LEGO Products into their countries in America with reduced import duty and in this way be able to reach more children with a play experience.

What your day will look like:

- Align with applicable regulations, trade agreements and policies while completing the certification process, by optimally determining the regional content value of the product under the accurate criteria and subsequently issuing the correct documentation.
- Certify products before MX Ministry of Economy, when applies based on regulation, securing to provide accurate & compliant information, and follow-up requests from Ministry of Economy until the process is closed.
- Provide to the customers with compliant and on time certificates of origin, through electronic channels and courier, depending on applicable regulation to be used at the import moment in the destination country. Secure that customer & internal partners are well advised about certificates status.
- Understand internal and external customer needs and act upon, connecting with internal local and regional team members.
- Maintain accurately updated working systems and tools, secure accurate information transfer Mexican Authorities and collaborators.
- Maintain Processes and User guides in place and updated to trough continuous alignment, regulations update and digital platforms to secure long term compliance.
- Handle daily effective collaboration with LATAM Customers, Ministry of Economy and LEGO Colleagues in US.
- Responsible in daily basis to identify, advise and take action upon risks until are mitigated. Bring up when is needed to the Export Manger according to the situation at hand, and Import-Export Director if needed.

Are you up for the challenge?
- 3 years experience working in IMMEX, Manufacturing companies or working in Consulting agencies on International Commerce related position where has had similar responsibilities.
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, International Commerce or similar.
- Skills: Use of annex 24 software and use of SAP or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements and benefits.
