Purpose of Position Responsible for overall management of the tool room including the development, to ensure the production objectives to maximize productivity and maintain the highest levels of workmanship for all tool and die activities. Performance the preventive maintenance system of the stamping tools, progressive dies, and plastic molding dies Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Manages and coordinates human resources to achieve the Tooling Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities - Teach/Mentor tooling team on die functions and troubleshooting techniques - Manages External Tooling Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities - Leads Root cause analysis of recurring problems to reduce tooling failures and minimize costs - Maintains tooling spare parts availability. Coordinate spare parts fabrication - Keeps the maintenance control records of each die, and tools - Perform tool design and work with external tools suppliers to achieve engineering requirements - Support tools design changes by engineering department
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree on Mechanical Engineering or Engineering General related with more than 5 years’ experience as tooling engineer or toolroom management, working with punch press, stamping process, and molding dies - Good communication skills - Problem-solving techniques - Lean concepts and Leadership - Advance experience in GD&T and measurement equipment - Good knowledge on tool room machinery - Advanced CNC, CAD/CAM software experience
