As an International Trade Compliance Specialist, you will manage, control, coordinate, and ensure customs compliance of Import Operations in Foreign Trade promptly, to guarantee the clearance of goods. You will ensure the correct submission of the Electronic Value Declaration, compliance with Customs Law, the TIGIE, and current tax regulations, minimizing legal, financial, and operational risks. You will report to International Commerce Manager. **Key Responsibilities** - Management, control, and management of import operations in regulatory compliance. - Coordinate daily import operations with the involved departments, customs agents, and internal areas. - Ensure that complete and correct import documentation is available to comply with the Electronic Value Declaration. - Prepare, and submit the electronic Value Declaration for all import operations. - Comply with governmental provisions regarding customs observing the submission of the Electronic Value declaration. - Ensure that procedures are carried out observing current legislation. - Maintain files available during audit visits from any governmental agency. - Monitor regulatory updates and propose compliance actions. - Monthly Goal tracking. - Follow-up on Findings. - Handle Incoterms. - Review the completion of customs declaration forms and COVE. - Submission of the ED-Document of the Value declaration to the customs broker. - Ensure that the ED is declared in the customs declaration. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in International Business, Customs Law, Accounting. - Experience: 5 years in the Foreign Trade area handling imports (Operational and legal aspects). - Knowledge of import promotion programs. - Fluent English. - Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) management, Office - Manage One Source Software. - ANA/Value Manifestation Software. - Knowledge in filling out customs declarations. - Experience in international invoicing and transfer pricing. - Broad knowledge in customs valuation. - Knowledge and use of VUCEM. - Knowledge of the Customs Law, Fiscal Code, Incoterms, international customs legislation, promotion programs IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA. - TIGIE and General Rules of Foreign Trade (RGCE) - Fluent English. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
