Direct material Purchase. Quote, selection and final recommendation of suppliers. Generate savings to meet the target. Generation of purchase orders. General commercial support.

**Skills**:

- University degree in commercial, engineering or supply chain-related areas.
- English at a level of 80%.
- Mandatory experience
- Strategic purchases
- Minimum 3 years experience in sourcing strategic purchasing
- Leader in negotiation with suppliers
- Troubleshooting
- Prioritize activities and assignments
- Program management skills
- Computational skill and knowledge:

- Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point)
- SAP
- Teamwork.
- Oral and verbal communication in Spanish and English.

**Your role**:

- Lead negotiation with suppliers.
- Lead search for opportunities and savings projects
- Materials analysis
- Supply Chain Analysis
- Analysis of economic factors in the industry
- Achieve savings goals.
- Improve business terms such as:

- Payment terms.
- Payment in Receipt
- Monthly payment
- Incoterm
- Transfer titles, etc.
- Location within the region.
- Timely Supplier Selection Process.
- Coordinate/Support business transfers between Aptiv Plants
- Prevent supplier delivery interruptions
- Tool movements
- Supplier location changes
- Change of suppliers.
- Update multiple reports and presentations (supplier, Category, etc.).
- Comply with purchasing policies and procedures and in your interactions with other areas.
- Supervise a Buyer Assistant (when applicable)
- Leader of initiatives within the Category and team
