The Administrative Sales Assistant is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and entering customer orders and associated functions, including the maintaining of all records. Actions are assigned to other internal team members from this role through clear, detailed written communication. This role requires excellence in softcopy documentation of assigned action and/or history of a customer purchase order processing. Understanding company customer purchase order standards, guidelines and processes are crucial for this role.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Input customer purchase orders.**
- Ability to have awareness to detail within high volume tasks that could increase revenue, reduce cost, reduce risk, or increase customer satisfaction.
- Efficient and consistent as a user of ERP order entry system.
- Proficiency of our ERP order entry system and specific customer expectations.
- Ability to manage and successfully complete an elevated level of unplanned task through prioritizing and efficiency.
- Follows established procedures, examines, and verifies documents for correctness, appropriateness, and accuracy.
- Seeks continuous improvements in processes, guidelines, and customer service to gain departmental efficiency, improve customer satisfaction and customer response times. Areas of improvements identified would be presented with suggestions and next steps.
- Flexibility to change planned daily activities to accomplish task with immediate urgency, a short-term deadline in support of a customer commitment or company objective.
- Creates and maintains customer contact information in database.
- Must be willing to work overtime as workload dictates with management approval in advance.
- Assist in special projects and/or additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
**SKILLSAND/OR EXPERIENCE**
- 2+ years related office experience and related job knowledge
- **Experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred**:
- Precision data entry and excellent typing skills is necessary
- **Poses excellent oral and written communication skills are required in both English and Spanish**:
- Proficient in the use of MS Office 365, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook
**EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
**PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS**
- Ability to concentrate and focus on detailed information for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit and type for extended periods of time.
- Requires repetitive reviewing of data and other information and nearly mistake free work performance.
- Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- This position offers a flexible work schedule.
- The employee may spend time both in a traditional office environment and a home office.
- An employee in this position can expect to interface through multiple mediums servicing internal customers.
- High volume of detailed data at a computer.
