**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deployment of the Zero-Defect philosophy in the production lines
- Direct the efforts and continuous improvement projects for the KPIs of the Quality department.
- Development and implementation of leading indicators to predict the level of product quality.
- A pro-active and hands-on role promoting the maintenance, development and adherence to quality systems, quality metrics, quality techniques, customer complaints and quality investigations.
- Design and execution of process audits for critical controls such as error-proof devices (Poka Yoke), calibrations, operator certifications, perishable materials, etc. Design and implementation of standard work methodologies in all quality areas under his responsibility.
- Work with your counterpart in Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing in the design of efficient production processes.
- Identification and reduction of waste in operational areas.
- Perform internal company quality audits following the Site schedule. - ISO 9001, UL, IATF 16949 is a plus
- Monitor and improve process quality performance through analysis of KPIs, scrap, rework, and PPM indicators.
- Lead problem-solving activities for process-related quality issues using tools like 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
- Ensure that quality requirements are integrated into manufacturing processes from design through production.
- Support process validation, capability studies, and implementation of control plans and PFMEAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer quality concerns.
- Participate in APQP and launch activities for new processes and products.
- Perform audits and process verifications to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support to production and cross-functional teams to ensure process consistency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to reduce variation and improve product quality.

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process quality within the automotive manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of quality and automotive standards**:IATF 16949, ISO 9001**.
- Experience in process audits, control plans, PFMEA, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficient in quality problem-solving methodologies and data analysis.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Experience using quality and statistical tools such as Minitab.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills across departments.
