Mgr Ii Operations

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

**What your background should look like**:
**Short Description**
- Providing ECE (excellent customer experience) and customer service, total quality and a positive employee environment.
- Driving Continuous Improvement in line with strategy (TEOA).
- Establishing and operating production areas in a safe, environmentally sound and prudent manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensuring that the production areas are maintained in accordance with the Operational and Manufacturing procedures and best practices within the Business Unit.
- Ensure to achieve Operations KPI’s (Safety, COPQ, Productivity, Efficiency and Conversion Cost)

**What your background should look like**:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree with 5+ yrs of manufacturing leadership experience
- Prior experience working as an Operational Leader with proven experience.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, effectively managing competing priorities with available resources.
- Experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
- Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and CI (5S, Six Sigma, VST)
- Strong oral and written communications
- Project Management skills
- IT Skills (SAP, MS, Office)
- Recommends best work practices and improvements; coaching employees to be the best version of themselves
