We are on the lookout for a meticulous and driven Project Management Support Senior Analyst with a strong finance background. This role supports our R&D IT Project Management Back Office services within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization, specifically in Contract Enablement and Business Operations. You will engage in comprehensive reporting, finance and resource management, metrics tracking, purchasing, governance, and communication activities, collaborating with global Project Managers (PMs) and partners to ensure seamless project execution within AstraZeneca’s R&D-IT enabling function.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Finance & Resources**
Lead finance activities for core platforms by:
- Managing financials including actuals, accruals, and cross-charges to uphold financial integrity.
- Compiling Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) for strategic insights.
- Monitoring budget forecasts, providing insights on resource planning and the impact of recruitment.
- Ensuring accuracy in SNow (ServiceNow) cost and resource plans.
- Maintaining records with Excel to synchronize forecast and actual data.
- ** Metrics & Performance**
- Set up and manage Operational Health (OH) reports, ensure consistent data quality.
- Analyze operational, delivery, and productivity metrics to optimize performance tracking.
- Maintain accurate resourcing data in the FRES tracker.
- Develop project postcards to showcase achievements using the Airfocus tool.
- ** Purchasing**
- Initiate Purchase Requisitions and manage goods receipts and Purchase Orders through Coupa.
- Oversee documentation and approvals for PO management.
- ** Communications & Engagement**
- Disseminate communications for cross-team events and ensure project statuses are communicated promptly.
- ** Onboarding & Offboarding**
- Coordinate equipment issuance and retrieval for project team transitions.
- Manage access requests for platforms and ensure training statuses and communications for new starters are up-to-date.
- ** Continuous Improvement**
- Advocate for standard methodologies and process enhancements, sharing system expertise to improve data accuracy.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or related fields.
- ** Experience**: 3 years in project management or related roles, with a deep understanding of operational processes and financial management.
- ** Skills**:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools.
- Familiarity with the Procure to Pay process, Coupa, and ServiceNow is advantageous.
- Experience with SmartSheets, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Confluence, Jira, or AirFocus is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
