Unicity International is an established and successful science-based Nutritional Supplement company looking to expand into many countries in Central and South America. We already have well-established businesses in more than 40 countries world-wide.

We’re seeking to add to our team a dedicated **Compliance and New-Market Attorney** who possesses the ability to manage their own related responsibilities, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, to represent our interests in establishing legal and regulatory relationships in many countries. This person will be able to work in a collaborative manner to meet deadlines and achieve goals. Previous experience will be helpful for the successful applicant, but is not necessarily a requirement. The ability to work hard and learn quickly is a requirement.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Draft/review corporate governance-related documents (minutes, resolutions, and policies); evaluate corporate governance-related matters and assist with corporate governance initiatives
- Create, review and negotiate contracts, technology vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documentation; coordinate with and assist the firm’s investment, finance, operations, and investor relations teams as it relates to all legal matters
- Respond to investor diligence questionnaires; assist with any new investment vehicles or other products, provide support to launching new business initiatives across the firm and its subsidiaries
- Perform ad-hoc and other related projects as needed

**Experience and Qualifications**
- JD from an accredited law school
- **Bilingual in Spanish and English**:

- 1-2 years of overall experience (law firm or in-house) will be helpful
- Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry best practices that affect our expansion into Spanish-speaking countries
- Team player with excellent judgment and interpersonal/communication skills
- Creative problem solver
- Desire to learn and grow
- Ability to constructively counsel and influence internal clients in making the right decisions
- Capacity to simultaneously handle a variety of complex international regulatory/legal matters
- Demonstrable experience taking ownership of issues and providing practical advice
- Welcome the opportunity to travel to accomplish mission-critical tasks
- Ability to prioritize and undertake mission-critical tasks in a fast-paced environment
