Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) -21000UQA **Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages**: English **Preferred Qualifications** SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ENGINEER IN TEST (SDET) **_The opening is a test development position for_** Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)** **_in Database Test and Tools development team._** This is a "solution in a box" product that allows the customer to have a plug and play solution for database. **You'll get to learn/work with** Oracle Database/Clusterware, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Java, Python, MySQL, REST, Security frameworks and a lot more while you develop automated tests for this area. - The job:_ You will also be reviewing the feature specifications (Functional & Design spec) before it is finalized as your inputs from a customer perspective might be important in the implementation. **What you gain**: - Exposure to cutting edge technologies/products is database/cloud space - Work with core team of people from top colleges to build best in class Database products - Deep dive into Database/Cluster/Cloud services domains - Exposure to Open source technologies **Main skills required**: - Experience working with one or more programming languages such as: Java/Python/Perl - Experience with Linux systems - Good understanding of Databases/SQL **Detailed Description and Job Requirements** Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.
