**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support colleagues with execution of compliance activities of priority and focus to be centralized in Compliance Hub. Deliver high-quality service to countries in order to enable country Legal and Compliance teams to focus on business partnering and risk management
- Work in close partnership with country Legal and Compliance teams (especially in Latin America), Global Compliance process owners including Ethics and Compliance Policies Team on operational execution and excellence
- Contribute to the implementation of digital tools and solutions for control automation by partnering with dedicated teams
- Execute monitoring of country/Global activities in accordance with MCS and RAM
- Plan, prepare and lead independent compliance monitoring for country Legal and Compliance teams as part of Compliance Risk Assessment and Management. Assess implementation and effectiveness of the compliance programs and relevant controls in the countries. Identify potential root causes of control issues. Analyze and discuss with countries possible solutions and measures for improvement. Define meaningful mitigation/remediation actions, following latest agreed methodology.
- Work in close cooperation with Regional Compliance teams, Internal Audit and other stakeholders to achieve monitoring and remediation goals
- Ad hoc support with local tasks for the Mexican Unit, as requested
- Ensure consistently high level of business satisfaction through effective management of work and corresponding demand
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management
- Ensure transparent, reliable and agile stakeholder management despite global complexity; being the interface between Global Compliance process owner and country Legal and Compliance team
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
- University degree is preferred
- Business fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese language skills a plus.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience required (in compliance, law or similar control function preferred); prior experience in healthcare / pharmaceutical environment, and/or, with a top-tier law firm representing healthcare & technology clients a plus.
- Excellent project management skills
- Strategic mindset, excellent judgment at a complex organizational level, and proactive and dynamic style that fosters informed decision making, particularly on challenging, complex and difficult issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and activities in a calm, resilient and professional manner, and able to manage ethical and investigative matters with discretion and the utmost care of the individuals and organization involved
- Effective communication/presentation skills with all management levels. Ability to lead meetings.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills; together with a high ability to influence and negotiate
