Main Responsibilities: will include the following:

- Main point of contact for more senior ITM personnel regarding trade data and trade program aspects of the regional trade compliance program
- Site advisory, Management service.
- Under the supervision of the ITM Regional Manager, assist in the implementation of a convergence plan for legacy trade compliance programs PROSEC, Rule 8TH
- Under the supervision of the ITM Regional Manager, assist in the implementation of a development and enhancement plan for trade compliance
- Self assessment reports (Annex 24 Data & Annex 31)
- Responsible for free trade agreement operational support:

- Data management / ERP interface (Daily interfase, HTS, DESC, ETC.)
- Qualification analysis / certificate production
- Claims and refunds
- Perform basic legislative and regulatory impact analysis (Tariff analysis)
- Supporting member of the Regional center of expertise for trade and compliance activities (audits, cost analysis, etc)
- Day to day involvement in and support of multiple trade compliance programs (AEO, CTPAT, VAT certifications, Annex 31)
- Perform training and auditing as requested by senior ITM personnel (Questionnaire’s, annual IMMEX training, Introduction training)

Education/experience: University degree; customs official/broker preferred; legal/logistics experience also advantageous; fluent written and spoken English required.

At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
