**What you’ll be doing**:

- **Building and Leading a Data Organization**:Develop and manage a comprehensive data organization that encompasses Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering teams.
- **Data Science Leadership**:Direct a team of data scientists to create advanced models for predictive analytics and machine learning, tackling key issues such as demand forecasting and task prioritization based on economic impact.
- **Proactive Data Insights**:Generate strategic insights by closely monitoring user engagement and performance data, influencing product development and operational strategies.
- **Empowering Self-Service**:Facilitate a culture of data-driven decision making by empowering technical product managers and engineers with self-service analytics tools to independently extract and analyze data.
- **Data Analytics Management**:Oversee a dynamic team of data analysts working collaboratively with product management and engineering to provide critical support in experiment analysis and insights dissemination.
- **Advanced Dashboarding**:Enhance and refine key operational dashboards to improve accessibility and usability, providing critical data at a glance to support daily business decisions.
- **Strategic Advisory**:Serve as a principal data consultant to the executive team, utilizing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and highlight performance drivers.
- **Communication and Storytelling**:Utilize exceptional communication skills to articulate complex data insights through compelling stories and presentations that resonate with all stakeholders.

**Who you are**:

- **+6 years** in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Science, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a high-growth, startup environment.
- Expertise in advanced analytics and data reporting, with a keen ability to distill complex datasets into meaningful business decisions.
- Demonstrated capability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing data teams in a dynamic, outcome-focused tech environment.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on nurturing team growth and aligning data initiatives with business goals.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts and recommendations to senior management, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Extensive background in formulating data strategies and managing data operations efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of data architecture, including Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and Data Integration.
- English level: B2 or above.
- **Plus**:Advanced familiarity with our tech stack (BigQuery, Looker, Airbyte, and dbt).
- Plus: Extensive background in data governance.
