Job Description

Bose Corporation is a leading innovator in the field of automotive sound management systems and is successfully extending their market leadership in these areas. Bose seeks Systems Engineering staff to join and guide this dynamic, fast growing automotive business.

The Systems Engineering R&D team is looking for a Requirements Management Manager to lead a team dedicated to working with our development teams to understand and deliver innovative technologies and experiences. This highly self-motivated engineering manager should be excited about managing a team of enthusiastic engineers as well as be able to offer technical guidance. The products and developments include a wide range of technologies ranging from entertainment audio to cabin sound management as well as a range of deployment methodologies. Your team will work closely together with internal cross functional development teams, heavily software focused, in specifying and designing solutions including but not limited to embedded and laptop-based solutions.

Requirements Managers perform duties like understanding requirements, obtaining commitment to requirements, managing requirements changes, and maintaining bidirectional traceability. They work closely with the Systems Engineers to transform stakeholder needs into customer requirements, establishing product component requirements and analyzing requirements. The most successful example resumes highlight qualifications such as engineering expertise, analytical thinking, attention to details, and collaboration. They will work across engineering disciplines andshould be able to able to manage small details while keeping an eye on the big picture.
