Transformation Architecture Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformation Architect Lead to join our team. As a Transformation Architect Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the transformation of our technology landscape, specifically focusing on Tandem, Unisys, Mainframe, and Open systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic transformation initiatives to modernize and optimize our systems, processes, and infrastructure. **Responsibilities**: - Lead the transformation efforts: Take ownership of the end-to-end transformation process, from strategy development to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals. - Assess current systems and identify transformation opportunities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of our existing Tandem, Unisys, Mainframe, and Open systems, identifying areas for improvement, modernization, and consolidation. - Develop transformation roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to define a clear and actionable roadmap for transforming the technology landscape, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements. - Architect and design modernized solutions: Design innovative and scalable solutions that leverage modern technologies and best practices, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to drive the successful implementation of transformation initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. - Provide technical leadership: Guide and mentor a team of architects and engineers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support throughout the transformation journey. - Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to Tandem, Unisys, Mainframe, and Open systems, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation. - Ensure compliance and security: Ensure that all transformation initiatives adhere to relevant compliance standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Transformation Architect or similar role, with a focus on Tandem, Unisys, Mainframe, and Open systems. - Strong knowledge and expertise in modernizing legacy systems, including experience with migration, consolidation, and integration projects. - In-depth understanding of Tandem, Unisys, Mainframe, and Open systems architecture, technologies, and best practices. - Experience in developing and executing transformation roadmaps, including defining strategic objectives, milestones, and resource planning. - Proficient in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using modern technologies and frameworks. - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement. - Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Azure) are a plus. - Manage all activities related to architecture & engineering related to the Mexico Divestiture - Collaborate with all product lines in order to design the target state architecture for Mexico - Generate technical diagrams and flow diagrams that will be required in the end state - Work with sector architects to ensure that the strategy toward target state is well defined and adhered to **Requirements**: - Must have knowledge of Payments, and Core Banking - Experience on Tandem and Unisys platforms - 6+ in architecture or similar role - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Systems & Engineering - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
