**Project** Description**:
We're building a project for market leading large Germany based company with 440,000 customers worldwide.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide onboarding support and operational guidance for PostgreSQL databases (AWS & Azure) to our internal database teams
- Help in finding ways to optimize and improve performance of databases
- Provide reporting on various metrics: availability, usage, and performance
- Continuous improvement and documentation of existing processes and standards
**Skills**:
Must have
- Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a database administrator
- Solid understanding and experience with PostgreSQL (AWS, Azure). Certifications are a definite asset
- Good knowledge of Azure SQL
- Good knowledge of scripting languages/automation
Your Experience:
- Strong experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS and GCP
- Strong experience in providing or supporting PostgreSQL database services in public cloud or private cloud
- Experience in implementation of best practices and performance tuning
- Experience working in a high availability environment (24X7)
Your Skills:
- Comfortable with customer facing situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment BUT also able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to work under pressure when needed
