A&M’s Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) has an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in Mexico for a Senior Director in **Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory (CMAA).**Our Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory practice partners with management and the company’s finance organization to address challenges they face in today’s evolving accounting and reporting environment. Our Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory team has the knowledge and experience to address complex accounting and financial reporting issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise clients on a wide range of complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters, including the implementation of accounting standards, development of accounting position papers and assistance in IPOs and other capital markets transactions
- Serve as project manager on multiple concurrent capital markets advisory, technical accounting advisory and implementation projects. Experience with revenue recognition, purchase accounting and lease accounting is a must.
- Grow the business by actively pursuing new business opportunities, client contacts and areas of growth
- Identify and build long-term business relationships with new target clients and key executives
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with other A&M teams, client personnel, serving as a point of contact for client personnel for day-to-day execution of advisory services
- Train, coach and supervise staff

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting and active CPA preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MFRS and IFRS required
- Knowledge of USGAAP, Mexican Stock Exchange and SEC regulations with capital markets transaction experience is a plus
- Proven ability and interest in business development and networking
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Must work well on teams and continually work to develop the knowledge and maturity to work with our clients independently
- Flexibility to travel as needed for certain projects
- Fluent in English
